1. Is Super Shuttle a scheduled service?

No, we pick you up where and when you need to travel. We calculate your pickup time based on your flight departure/arrival time.

2. Where can I catch a Super Shuttle?

Super Shuttle provides door-to-door service. We pick you up from or deliver you to your doorstep from home, hotel, office or anywhere. We have Shuttles based at the following airports: Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Kerikeri, Whangarei, Hastings, Napier, Nelson, Rotorua, Queenstown and Wellington.

3. How many people can a Super Shuttle carry?

Up to 11 passengers and their luggage.

4. Can Super Shuttle carry my surf/SUP/windsurfing board?

Yes. Our utility trailer is designed to cater for all such large items. Just let us know when you make your booking. There is a small charge of $5.00 each for these items.

5. Why do Super Shuttles tow a trailer?

This allows us to cater for all the luggage needs of our passengers. The trailers are specially designed to carry bikes, bags, surfboards, skis, snowboards, large boxes … we carry them all.

6. Can I order a wakeup call?

Yes, just select our wakeup call option if you are booking online or ask our reservations agent when you call 0800 SHUTTLE (0800 748885).

7. What about infants and car seats?

All Super Shuttle vehicles have seatbelts and we recommend that you bring your child’s carseat with you when you travel. For a small fee, Super Shuttle will store your carseat and position it in the Super Shuttle that provides your return journey.

8. Can I take my dog or cat on a Super Shuttle?

Yes – there are two options. If you wish to travel with your pet in the vehicle, you must pay for the exclusive use of the vehicle. Alternatively your pet can travel in its cage in our spacious luggage trailer for the shared ride price.

1. What does “shared ride” mean?

Since all our passengers are travelling to or from the airport, they can share the same vehicle. We'll make 2-3 stops along the way that are “on the way” so this only adds a little time to your trip. This approach makes our prices unbeatable and its way better for the environment!

2. Can I hire the Super Shuttle just for me and my family / friends / staff / work colleagues?

Yes – we provide our Exclusive Ride service to many passengers. This service means you can get up to 11 passengers (3 taxis worth!) for about 25% more than a single taxi fare so you can see why it is so popular. Get a quick quote right now!

4. Where will I find Super Shuttle at the airport?

Your Super Shuttle will be waiting for you at the airport on the shuttle rank outside the airport terminal. Click here to see maps showing you where to find us at an airport.

5. How much time will I need to allow for travelling the airport?

When you book online (link to Book Online) we will ask you for your flight details. Our Super Shuttle reservations system then calculates your pickup time, allowing for your travel time to the airport so that you arrive at the required report time for your flight. You also get the added bonus of selecting an earlier pickup time if you wish to go out to the airport early to avoid the rush and do some shopping!

6. Can Super Shuttle take me to the airport at any time of the day?

Yes, we operate 24/7. We service every flight every day, door-to-door!

1. How much does booking a Super Shuttle cost?

Because it’s a shared ride, our prices are a fraction of an airport taxi. Depending on your group size and pickup location, our prices can be less than half the price of a taxi. Get a quick quote right now!

2. Do I have to book my Super Shuttle transfer?

To avoid disappointment we strongly recommend you book your Super Shuttle transfer in advance. We often have a walk up availability at airports if you do forget to book a ride but this is not guaranteed.

3. Do I have to pay for my luggage items?

The shared ride price includes up to 2 pieces of standard luggage. Please refer to the luggage section of our terms and conditions, for more detailed information regarding your luggage allowance and charges.

4. Why book Super Shuttle online?

Because it’s quick, easy and secure and you get a printable confirmation of your itinerary.

5. How can I change/cancel a reservation once I have a confirmed booking online?

Your reservation details can easily be changed by calling our free call reservations line - 0800 SHUTTLE (0800 748885). Simply quote your reservation number and our friendly reservations staff will bring up your transfer details and change them for you. For Super Shuttle’s full refund policy for cancellations, please refer to our terms and conditions.

6. Why prepay online?

Most of our clients prefer to use credit cards when paying for travel services. Prepaying your reservation ensures you enjoy the most convenient way to pay for your transfer - when you arrive at your destination you simply sign for the ride and proceed on your way without having to wait for our driver to process the transaction. Of course, if you wish to pay cash you can do so by free calling our team on 0800 SHUTTLE (0800 748885).
